Information You Give Us: WeldTec Designs receives and stores any Personal Information you post on or provide through the Site or through any other means, including, without limitation, information you provide to WeldTec Designs when you register for an Account, sign up for the Newsletter, purchase a product, (as defined below), or request information from WeldTec Designs regarding our products or services. You can choose not to provide such Personal Information, in which case you will not be able to access or use portions of the Website. How do you get my consent?

Purchases: Our store is hosted on WooCommerce. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through WooCommerce’s data storage, databases and the general WooCommerce application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment: If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then WooCommerce stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Automated Collection: WeldTec Designs automatically receives and stores certain types of Personal Information when you visit the Site, such as the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet; the IP address of the computer you are using and the browser and operating system you are using; the date and time you access the Site; the Internet address of the website from which you linked to the Site; any search terms you used to find the Site; the device identifiers and mobile and network information, and your actions on the Site. This information will be treated as Personal Information if we combine or link it to any of the identifying information above. Otherwise, this information constitutes aggregate information.

We may also automatically receive and store certain types of information when you visit the Site through the use of cookies, web beacons, or similar programs to collect the information described above. Our web servers may also collect “log data.” Log data provides aggregate information about the number of visits to different pages on the Site. WeldTec Designs stores your Personal Information for only as long as you maintain your Subscription, receive our Newsletter, or receive a WeldTec Designs product or service purchased on the Site, and may use the Personal Information provided or obtained through the Site to:

Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

Corrections and Updates

If you want to view, delete, or modify your Personal Information, you may do so by sending an email to info@weldtecdesigns.com. Please note that we may be required to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time, in which case we will comply with Your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements). When we delete any information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our archives.

You may also choose to opt-out of receiving future Newsletters or any other email communications from WeldTec Designs by following the unsubscribe instructions included in email communications, or by contacting WeldTec Designs via email as provided above.

WeldTec Designs reserves the right to verify the identity of any person making a request to opt-out or to delete or modify Personal Information; provided, however, that we will have no liability of any kind resulting from false or erroneous requests or any change or deletion made by WeldTec Designs for any reason. WeldTec Designs stores Personal Information for only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, as WeldTec Designs determines is necessary for business records, and as required under applicable law.

WeldTec Designs does not control, and makes no representations whatsoever regarding, such other website or the products and services offered by or through website accessed through links on the Site, even those with which WeldTec Designs may have an affiliation. What Steps Do We Take To Protect Your Information Online?

We take reasonable measures to protect your Personal Information in an effort to prevent loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. All WeldTec Designs employees with access to the Personal Information you provide to us through the Site or through any other means are bound by a confidentiality agreement prohibiting the unauthorized disclosure and/or use of your Personal Information.
